Import from a File

You can easily add a citation by the import of data from the file in the format RIS. This is common used format for the citation data exchange. You can get these file from different sources, like a citation management software or websites. For example, you want to add a paper from Tribology Letters. Do the following steps:

1. Open the journal web-site and find the article(s) required.

2.Open the article's page

3.Click EXPORT CITATION

4.Select Citation and Abstract and Reference Manager in the text box below

5.Press Export Citation

After the RIS file downloads, in the Sci Ref press File button in the Import panel, select the file downloaded from the journal website, press Open. Note, that i don't need to create a journal manually in this case, everything will be done automatically.
